TyneView Estate Farmhouse & Stables is located in Gateshead, just a 15-minute drive from Newcastle city centre. It provides the perfect setting for gatherings, celebrations, and special occasions. The estate is easily accessible via major roads: it is a short drive from the A1(M), connecting to Newcastle, Durham, and surrounding areas. Public transport options are also nearby, with local bus routes and Newcastle Central Station within easy reach.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 4:00pm and check-out is by 11:00am.
How many guests can the estate accommodate?
TyneView Estate can accommodate up to 44 guests across the entire estate (The Farmhouse 18 people & The Stables 26 people), making it an ideal choice for large groups and special occasions. You can book the full estate or select the property that best suits your needs.
Is there a noise policy?
There are no strict noise restrictions, but we ask all guests to be considerate, as the estate is shared. While steps have been taken to ensure privacy, please remain respectful of other residents.
What types of occasions is TyneView Estate suitable for?
The estate is suitable for all types of occasions, including corporate events, family gatherings, private celebrations, stag and hen groups, retreats, and other special occasions.
Is the property suitable for guests with restricted mobility?
We can cater for restricted mobility on a case-by-case basis. Please let us know your requirements prior to booking. There are ground-floor bedrooms and bathrooms available in both properties.
Is there CCTV?
There is external CCTV in operation on the premises.
Is TyneView Estate family-friendly?
Absolutely — TyneView is family-friendly and welcomes children. Please let us know at the time of booking so we can ensure any necessary items are prepared for your stay.
Is there parking available at TyneView Estate?
We have ample parking available for all guests.
How can I book/ cancellation policy?
You can book your stay via our via the "book now" buttons on the website. The calendar shows live availability for your convenience. A £500 deposit will be due upon securing (£1000 if booking the whole estate). All deposits are non refundable and the full balance is due 8 weeks prior to your stay.
Is there anything nearby?
You’ll find a charming pub just a short distance away: Ravensworth Arms – Greenford Lane, Lamesley, NE11 0ER. The nearest supermarket is Sainsbury’s – Eleventh Avenue, Gateshead, NE11 0JY. There are also several takeaways that offer delivery. Using Just Eat, you can order from a variety of options, from McDonald’s to Greggs. Please remember to specify which property you are staying in on the estate when placing your order. You’re only a 15-minute drive from the heart of Newcastle city centre.
What's a security bond?
We take a £500 bond via bank transfer during the week of your arrival. If you have booked the entire estate this will be £1000. This is held as a security deposit in case of any damages. The bond will be refunded within 5 working days of check-out, provided there is no damage.
Can I book any extras?
Should you wish to add any additional services, including party decor (balloons and signage), grazing boards, or cocktail-making experiences etc please inform us and we can add these at an additional cost. If you intend to hire any external suppliers independently, please notify us prior to check-in so we can authorise their attendance.
Can extra people stay/attend?
Only the number of guests included in the booking are permitted to attend or stay at TyneView Estate.
Can we smoke/vape?
Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside and may incur a cleaning charge if detected. Outdoor bins and ashtrays are available for disposing of cigarette buds and rubbish.
Are towels, bedding, and toiletries provided?
Yes! Towels and bedding are provided for all guests, along with basic toiletries for your convenience. We also provide branded robes. Please note that if any robes are taken from the property, a £50 charge will apply.
What's provided in the kitchen?
The kitchens are fully equipped with a fridge and freezer, a wine cooler, dishwasher, oven and hob, kettle, toaster, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Will the hot tub be ready for arrival?
The hot tub will be ready for your arrival. Please follow these safety guidelines: -Shower before entering the hot tub. -No glassware in or near the hot tub; plastic cups are provided in the kitchen. -Anyone who is pregnant or has health concerns should consult a doctor before use. -Children under the age of 5 are not permitted in the hot tub. -No jumping or diving. -Do not use the hot tub if the temperature exceeds 40°C.
